Popular Telugu actress Jayasudha’s husband Nitin Kapoor was found dead at his sister’s residence in Mumbai, which has jolted the industry.

It is confirmed that Nitin Kapoor committed suicide by jumping from the building terrace.

Jayasudha, one among the prominent face in Telugu and Tamil cinema, also former MLA of the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, married Nitin in the year 1985.

The reports say that Nitin Kapoor was living in his sister’s house at J P Road, Andheri. He had been jobless for the last 18 years and had been in a high depression in the recent period. He was under psychiatric treatment Kokilaben Hospital for the last one month.

Reports also say that, on 14 March afternoon around 2.00 pm, Nitin went on the terrace of the six-story building by breaking the locked door of the terrace and jumped down.

There are other rumors brewing around him of consuming poison, but that holds no evidence.

Nitin and Jayasudha have two sons and it seems that the mother and sons were not in regular touch with him because of his peculiar mindset and attitude. Reports say that Nitin had already tried to commit suicide few more times due to his failure productions and debts.

After hearing the shocking news, heartfelt condolences from all the directions started pouring in.

Telugu actor-producer, Mohan Babu took to Twitter to express his grief on hearing the news of Nitin Kapoor’s death. He wrote: “Spoke to my sister Jayasudha. Heartbroken. She is devastated. Some media networks are giving out false news. She has requested privacy now.” He further tweeted, “I join her in requesting the media to respect her privacy. Praying God to give her & her sons strength. Dear Nitin, RIP my friend.”
