Abyssinian

India’s first exclusive Ethiopian restaurant will celebrate Ganna – Christmas by offering a traditional set menu on 7 & 8th January 2017.

Ethiopia is one of the oldest nations in Africa which still follows the ancient Julian calendar, thereby observing Christmas on January 7th. This celebration of Christ’s birth by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is called Ganna. Similar to Indians, Ethiopians value the bond with family and friends very dearly. This is manifested in no better way than during this auspicious and celebratory time of year, filled with plenty of warmth, laughter and conversation.abyssinian
