His initial interests in the designing foray developed as he assisted his father with his clients in their family business which is famed for up-market clothing line. Having gained some excellent in-house training with his father, the designer eventually decided to go solo and give shape to his long-lasting dream of reaching the heart of haute couture.
With a fervour for sophisticated and elegant women, Lalit’s creations are replete of the much required blend of innate traditional and exuberant modern silhouettes. What exceptionally outshines Lalit in the crowd are the feminine, romanticist, Mughal and Victorian era influences that his clothes are replete of.
