​Bollywood Mourns The Demise Of Amit Mistry

Filmmaker Raj and DK, Kubbra Sait and more extended their condolences to the late actor Amit Mistry’s family. The young actor suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Friday morning.

Popular Gujarati and Hindi film actor Amit Mistry passed away after suffering a major cardiac arrest. He was 47 years old. He was exercising when he suffered from a heart attack that led to his demise.

His sudden demise shocked Bollywood celebrities as they Actor Kubbra Sait tweeted, “You’ll be missed on earth @Actoramitmistry Condolences to the family,” along with a photo of the late star.

Raj & DK official handle shared, “Devastated that Amit Mistry is no more! He was very special to us! Kuber (99), Tipu (SITC), Jignesh (A Gentleman), Prakhaand Pandit (current series)…in every script of ours, we subconsciously wrote a part for him. Heartbroken! Every time we write a script, he will be missed :(…A Gentleman (2017)…And finally… our current series!”

Amit was famous in the Gujarati theatre and film circuit. He was also known for his roles in Bollywood movies like ‘Shor in the City’, ‘Ek Chalis Ki Last Local’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ’99’, among others.

He even appeared in TV shows like ‘Saat Phero Ke Hera Pheri’, ‘Tenali Rama’, ‘Madam Sir’ and the popular Amazon Prime web series ‘Bandish Bandits.
