Megastar Amitabh Bachchan announced his new film titled ‘Goodbye’ on social media on Friday. ‘Goodbye’ is directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Reliance Entertainment. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Pavail Gulati in key roles.
Bachchan shared pictures of the clapboard of ‘Goodbye’ along with the mahurat shot of the film on his Instagram handle, he wrote, “Excited to begin this new journey! #Goodbye @ektarkapoor @shobha9168 @ruchikaakapoor @sarkarshibasish #VikasBahl @rashmika_mandanna @reliance.entertainment #TheGoodCompany #BalajiMotionPictures”
Apparently, Rashmika has begun shooting the film, while Amitabh is expected to join her on the sets on April 4.
‘Goodbye’ is touted to be a slice of life story which revolves around a funeral. It marks Ekta Kapoor and Vikas Bahl’s collaboration after their critically acclaimed films ‘Lootera’ and ‘Udta Punjab’.
Apart from ‘Goodbye’, Amitabh Bachchan will feature in Dharma Productions ‘Brahmastra’ along with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles.
Bachchan will also feature in Rumi Jafry’s mystery-thriller film ‘Chehre’, Nagraj Manjule’s sports drama film ‘Jhund’, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Mayday’ and Nag Ashwin’s multi-lingual untitled film which also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
