Actor Rajkummar Rao, who is known for realistic and versatile performances in films, has completed 11 years in the Hindi film industry. On Friday, Rao shared an emotional note on his social media in which he thanked his fans and followers for their constant love and support in his journey. He also promised his fans that he will work harder to entertain them in coming years.
Sharing snippet of his acclaimed films on his Instagram handle, Rao wrote, “GRATITUDE So thankful for these 11 wonderful years and the amount of love that has been showered on me. Right from my first film till this day – you all never stopped believing in me, big thank you for that. All this wouldn’t have been possible without your love and support. Here’s a promise that I will continue working the hardest and will entertain each one of you always and forever. Big love”.
Rajkummar Rao made his acting debut with Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ which released in March, 2010. Since then he has featured in some notable films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’, ‘Kai Po Che!’, ‘Shahid’, ‘Queen’, ‘City Lights’, ‘Aligarh’, ‘Trapped, ‘Newton’ ‘ Stree’, ‘The White Tiger’ and many others.
Rajkummar Rao’s last film ‘Roohi’ has got good response from the audience in theatres. He will next be seen in Abhishek Jain’s comedy drama film ‘Hum Do Humare Do’ along with Kriti Sanon. He will also share screen space with Bhumi Pednekar in Harshvardhan Kulkarni’s ‘Badhaai Do’.
There are also media reports that Rajkummar will step into veteran actor Dharmendra’s shoes in the remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s1975 cult comedy ‘Chupke Chupke’ and Vicky Kaushal will play role of Amitabh Bachchan in it.
