Sonam Dubal : Sakura – Spring Summer 2022
Celebrating a completely different season with spring flowers in cottons and linen stripes in lighter shades of pale like sea blue, sand and indigo bring to light easy fresh airy and breezy styles for our Sakura line to Amethyst. Detailing for this season is minimal, with sequin work and blanket stitch making the fabrics airy and easy for sunny days ahead with frill dresses in jagged stripes in sage and ice cream pink and cool blues.
From the darkness to the light this season is a playground to crafting a new identity of ease and comfort with summer textiles for the day. For the evening off shoulder dresses in Upcycled georgettes, brocades and embroidered light jackets make a comeback with easy crushed dresses to match. Bandhini textures in mul mul and crepe de chine also add to the handcrafted identity that is signature to Sanskar.
Revisiting and mapping embroideries from the past they have once again created a line of jackets, dresses, kaftans and brocade tunics for evening wear recreating Vintage charm for their exhibition Sakura – 2022 at the breezy and beautiful.
