The Bellini magic at Chipstead, Taj Coromandel!

Who doesn’t love fresh fruit puree and sparkling wine! Bellini, made with sparkling white wine and pureed white peaches was made famous by Giuseppe Cipriani, head bartender and owner of perhaps the most famous bar in the world: Harry’s Bar, in Venice. The shade of pink of the Bellini reminded Cipriani of the colour of a saint’s toga in a painting by Giovanni Bellini, hence the name, “Bellini.” The drink went on to become the favourite of Ernest Hemingway, Sinclair Lewis, Alfred Hitchcock and Orson Welles!
Chipstead at Taj Coromandel, the most stylish and contemporary bar in the city, recreates the Harry’s Bar creation in varied flavours. From the traditional peaches to mango, watermelon and passion fruit, there are several twists to the tale!
There is the Chipstead frozen Bellini, comprising Crème de peche/ Monin peach, Mango puree and Prosecco. Or the Rossini with Strawberry Puree.

Those who like the flavour of pomegranates, the Tintoretto is for you, made of Pomegranate juice/ puree, Grenadine syrup, and Champagne/ Prosecco.
