‘I am married to my work and my money’ Designer Kanwaljeet Singh on wearing a Mangalsutra
Kanwaljeet Singh, a veteran Fashion Designer who has designed clothes for almost all the celebrities such as Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Raveena Tandon is very happy to bring Bappa to his home. The designer spoke to News Helpline about his excitement about the festival and much more.
Talking about the Ganesh Festival, he said, “I think Ganesha is embedded in me. I love Ganesha, Shiva and Waheguru. I even believe in Allah. I would like to say Hindu Muslims everyone should live with harmony and peace in our country. Our country is so beautiful. In the end, life is all about love.”
Sharing about the experience of bringing Ganpati to his place this year, he said, “I do interiors and I had thought this time I would make a very beautiful setup for Ganpati. I am very happy with what I have done. I did all of the arrangements all by myself.
He further added,”When I was going to bring my Ganpati Bappa, my car broke down in the middle of the road and I brought my Bappa in an auto. I enjoyed it a lot.”
The designer who is seen wearing a Mangalsutra spoke about it and said, “Some years back I lost some of my close people. I went into depression after that. No one came to ask me that time How I was coping up? Since then I am married to my work and my money and therefore I wear a Mangalsutra. “
