Badam Milk –
Made with Swee10’s stevia based sweetener instead of sugar, this drink cuts down on 270 kcal
INGREDIENTS
Milk 1 L
Almonds 40 – 45
Green Cardamom – 2 pods
Swee10 stevia – 20g or 1 ½ Tbsp
For the garnish
Roasted slivered almonds
Roasted slivered pistachios
RECIPE
Almond Paste
Soak almonds overnight and peel them
Blend together with all the other spices to form a paste
Add milk if needed to make the paste consistency
Almond Milk
Bring milk to a slight boil and allow to reduce in a heavy bottom pan
Dissolve saffron strands into a small amount of warm milk and set aside
Add the almond paste to the boiled milk and stir continuously to ensure the milk does not burn
Add the Stevia sweetener into the mixture and bring to desired sweetness
Add saffron mixture and allow it to sit for 30 minutes
Pass through a sieve and chill overnight and enjoy with garnishes of rose petals, slivered almonds and pistachios
Coconut Panna Cotta –
Using Swee10’s sweeteners, which contain no calories, make this dish the perfect indulgence. It’s dairy free, and since Swee10 is a plant-based sweetener, using vegetarian gelatin makes this dessert veggie friendly!
INGREDIENTS
Coconut milk – 2 cup full
Swee10 powder: 1/3 tsp
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
Gelatin powder – 1 ¼ tsp
Fruits – optional, to serve with
RECIPE
In a saucepan whisk together 1 cup coconut milk and gelatin powder, allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes (this lets the gelatin bloom).
Add the vanilla extract and warm over medium heat. Do not boil the mixture.
Once the gelatin has completely dissolved in the mixture, remove from the heat and stir Swee10 powder and the remaining 1 cup coconut milk.
Pour the final contents into 4 small bowls and refrigerate for 4 hours. Serve with fresh fruits.
Banana Pancakes –
INGREDIENTS
Ripe Bananas – 2 large
Eggs – 4
Swee10 powder – 1 tsp
Topping of your choice
RECIPE
Lightly beat the eggs and set aside
Mash the bananas in another bowl
Add the eggs to the bananas, blending well
Add in the Swee10 powder and mix together
Heat a pan over medium heat
Add a little butter to the pan
Pour in one scoop of the banana mixture and tilt the pan to spread the mixture
Allow the pancake to brown and cook, till the top looks semi-dry
Flip over and cook till brown on the other side
Serve warm, with toppings of your choice
