Like all girls out there, I do share a love-hate relationship with my favourite pair of heels; here’s a cheat sheet that will make things easier for you.
Wear the right size
Never buy heels that are smaller in size. It will just end up squishing and bruising your feet.
For better grip
New bought shoes have really smooth soles that might cause you to lose your balance and slip. Fix it by rubbing the soles with sandpaper to improve the grip.
Tape the third and fourth finger together
This might seems but extreme but it works like a charm every time. By taping the third and fourth finger together – reduces the pressure on the ball of the feet. Now you can dance away in glory.
Walk from heel to toe
Keep in mind. While in high heels walk from heel to toe. It reduces the pressure on your toes and also keeps you from tripping. At the beginning, it would be difficult but practice makes it perfect.
To avoid chaffing
Keep blisters at bay by using a lip balm on the back of your heels.
Open up your shoe using some iceIf your shoe fits too snugly, then try this simple trick. Fill a zip lock bag halfway with water and place the bag inside the shoe. Put the shoe in the freezer overnight. Your shoe stretches since the water freezes and expands the shoe.
