Kolli Hills is situated in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu and also referred to as “Kolli Malai” which means mountain of death. It’s untouched beauty by commercial tourists has retained most of its natural magnificence.
Over 1000 – 3000 metres in height these hills are and spread over 280 sq. km. There are around 70 hairpin bends that take tourists to the top of the hill. These hills are popularly known for their rare collection of herbs which are effective for almost all kinds of diseases.
Besides the picturesques of this mountain range, its also known for Arappaleshwar Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. A few must visit places around the Kolli Hills are Siddhar Caves, Masi Periyasamy Temple and Falls, Selur Viewpoint and Seekuparai. Trekking at Kolli Hills is the main adventure activity available in the destination.
