Disney drops the trailer for The Naughty Nine, a Christmas comedy by Alberto Belli. About a bunch of kids, trying to get their name removed from Santa’s “naughty list” kids.
The film features Winslow Fegley, Camila Rodriguez, Madilyn Kellam, Anthony Joo, Imogen Cohen, Deric McCabe, Ayden Elijah, Leonidas Castrounis, and Danny Glover.
5th grader Andy (Winslow Fegley) has been a bit of a troublemaker this year. When Christmas morning arrives and Andy gets stiffed by Santa, he realizes he’s on the Naughty List.
Feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a crack team of fellow naughty listers to pull off an elaborate heist in the North Pole to get the presents that Andy and the others feel they deserve.
In the process of finding their gifts, the gang discovers that the spirit of Christmas is more about giving than taking, and decide to face Santa and do the right thing.
The screenplay is written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas. Produced by Jim Kontos, the film is slated for November 22nd release.
