Remo will always be my first preference for making films in dance genre, says Bhushan Kumar

T-series head honcho Bhushan Kumar is all set for his upcoming movie ‘Street Dancer 3D’, says that, Remo will always be his first preference for making films in dance genre and that’s the reason he never attempted to work on any other dance projects.

Bhushan Kumar was interacting with the media at the trailer launch of the movie ‘Street Dancer 3D’ on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Talking about his association with Street Dancer 3D, Bhushan Kumar said, “I always had a thought, that if I want to work on any dance genre film, my choice will always be Remo and that’s the reason I never attempted for any other dance projects. I wanted to make franchise with Remo from the beginning. I approached him twice for ‘ABCD’ as well as ‘ABCD 2’, and advised him to make franchise with my music company. Hence earlier due to some circumstances we couldn’t sync together. Finally, I forced Remo to make franchise with me for the third instalment of the franchise and not with anyone else. We both are associated with each other since last 20 years, as we have worked on many videos together”.

Talking more about the reason behind for treating his every movie in 3D, such as ‘Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior’ and ‘Street Dancer 3D’, Bhushan said, “It’s nothing like that, ‘Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior’ is full action packed movie, so it was necessary to make it in 3D. If we talk about ‘Street Dancer 3D’, from the beginning we had a plan to make it in 3D, because ‘ABCD 2’ was made in 3D and the film got lots of good reviews.”

‘Street Dancer 3D’ is directed by Remo D’Souza, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishnan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza.

The film stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Prabhudeva in the lead roles. It is scheduled to release on 24 January 2020.
