Corona-virus cases are on a big rise in the country. While the government has opened COVID-19 shots for people above 45 and is keen to get everyone vaccinated asap. The increased number of cases are a concern for everyone. Many bollywood actors have also been diagnosed with the virus recently and the latest to join the list is Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The ‘Dangal’ actress took to her social media account to share this news with her fans and wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. And currently following all the precautions and protocols and have been home quarantining myself. Thank you for all your wishes and concerns. Please stay safe guys.”
Recently, Vikrant Massey, Manoj Bajpayee, Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aaryan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor were among those who had tested positive for COVID-19.
On Monday, Mumbai reported 5888 new cases of COVID-19.
On the work front, the actress was last seen in ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ and will next be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’. It is an anthology film consisting of four short films directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, Kayoze Irani, Shashank Khaitan and Raj Mehta. The film will release on Netflix and also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Konkana Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah among others.
