4 Most Simple Ways To Use Mint Leaves To Get Rid Of Acne Scars

Mint leaves are naturally known for its health benefits. The leaves are used in preparing dishes, teas, mojitos, and other things that would give you a unique flavor. But we are not aware of mint being useful for beauty and skincare which would help you to get rid of acne scars. This is miraculously surprising, right? MINT LEAVES PASTE: Grab some 10 to 15 leaves and grind the mind leaves by adding few drops of water until it becomes a paste. Now, apply the paste to the affected area and leave it to dry. Later, wash it with the lukewarm water. By doing it daily, the anti-bacterial and antioxidants of the leaves would reduce oxidative stress and oppress the acne-causing bacteria.

MINT AND ROSEWATER: Take 10 to 15 mint leaves and one teaspoon of rose water to grind it to smooth paste. Now, apply it to the affected areas and leave it for 30 minutes. Later, rinse it off with water. Rosewater helps in maintaining the pH balance of your skin and keeps your skin hydrated and soft and is a natural astringent. It would also protect your skin from acne-causing bacteria.

MINT AND MULTANI MITTI FACE PACK: Take 10 to 15 mint leaves and crush it until it turns out to be a paste, blend the Multani mitti and yogurt well and add the mint paste to it and mix it well. Now, apply the mask evenly all over your face and neck. When it is dry, just have a wet cloth soaked in lukewarm water and when the pack is soft, gently wash it off in circular motions.

MINT LEAVES AND HONEY: Crush few mint leaves, add the honey to the mint paste and blend the mixture well and apply it on the affected area. Let it settle for half an hour and wash it with water. This would do magic for the dry skin as both honey and mint contain antibacterial properties and work well on acne. However, this face pack would not dry your skin as honey is a humectant.
