Darsheel Safary steps back into the spotlight with a bold reinvention in Gamerlog, streaming on Amazon MX Player

Returning to the spotlight in a full-fledged lead role, Darsheel Safary reflects on his journey with candour, “Acting has always been my passion, but moving forward hasn’t always been easy. When you’re known so strongly for one role as a child, every step forward feels like starting from scratch. Gamerlog, for me, became symbolic of that reset— to be seen as who I am now, not just who I was back then.”

Stepping into the world of e-sports for the first time, Anjali Sivaraman found herself drawing from the duality of her own identity to bring authenticity to Joanna. “Since I had no direct reference for the energy of e-sports, I leaned into how I am in real life. Personally, I’m quite soft, but professionally, I become much more focused and headstrong. That contrast helped me shape Joanna, who is driven and sharp when she needs to be, but still holds space for vulnerability” she shared.
