Si Nonna’s Brings True Neapolitan Pizza Craft to Hyderabad

~ Where Naples Meets Hyderabad: Genuine Neapolitan Pizza Debuts in Film Nagar & Khajaguda ~

Si Nonna’s—the original sourdough pizza known for its 500-year-old recipe straight from Naples—opens at two iconic locations in Hyderabad: Film Nagar and Khajaguda. Si Nonna’s is the world’s largest AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) certified pizzeria network that lives up to globally recognized Neapolitan pizza-making standards.

This launch marks not just another restaurant opening, but the arrival of an authentic sourdough pizza movement rooted in centuries of Italian craft. Si Nonna’s is bringing a culinary revolution through authentic, slow-crafted, artisanal Neapolitan pizzas to the city.

Si Nonna’s isn’t just another pizzeria. It is the closest India gets to the true flavours of Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Built on a heritage of 24-hour fermented sourdough, Italian artisanal traditions, premium imported and local ingredients and deep respect for craft, Si Nonna’s brings a style of pizza to Hyderabad that is soulful, slow-made, and unmistakably Neapolitan.

The menu features Si Nonna’s beloved signatures—from flavour-rich indulgences like Pizza No. 3 with garlic, olives, capers, fresh basil, and Fior di Latte, to the delicious Pizza No. 6, which features a rich pelati base topped with creamy fior di latte mozzarella. It includes slow-cooked, herb-garlic spiced chicken, premium Mt. Vesuvius sun-dried tomatoes, and is finished with homemade spicy chilli oil, fragrant basil pesto, and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil.

Just like the streets of Naples, Si Nonna’s brings the full Italian table to life with artisanal pizzas like Pizza No. 2, 3, 6 & 8, Panuozzo sandwiches, Eggplant Parmigiana, Kombuchas, Coolers, fresh gelatos, and Nonna’s iconic Tiramisu made with mascarpone cream and espresso-soaked savoiardi. The menu also celebrates dietary preferences with vegetarian, vegan, and Jain-friendly options.

The Film Nagar and Khajaguda outlets are designed as warm, open kitchen spaces where the aroma of sourdough meets the rhythm of chefs shaping each pie by hand—the way it’s been done for generations in southern Italy.

At the heart of each outlet is Si Nonna’s interactive open kitchen. Guests, families, kids, and food lovers can choose their ingredients, don a chef’s hat and apron, and create their own sourdough pizza under expert guidance. It’s not just a meal—it’s a memory, a ritual, a connection to the spirit of Naples.

Italian chef Massimo Verzini the head chef of Si Nonna’s explains that sourdough has its origins in the Italian region of Naples. “Families in Naples take great pride in their family sourdough recipes and the well-nurtured sourdough starter—it’s a craft passed down through generations. We’re excited to bring this same tradition of patience and artisanal care to a city that truly understands the beauty of slow-fermented, flavour-rich food.”

Speaking on the Hyderabad launch, Ayush Jatia, the visionary behind Si Nonna’s, says: “Bringing Si Nonna’s to Hyderabad feels special. The city is energetic, curious, and deeply passionate about food. Both locations gives us the perfect home to introduce a wider range of Neapolitan flavours — from our loved classics to new indulgent dishes crafted just for Hyderabad. Everything we do stays rooted in Italian tradition, yet speaks to today’s evolving tastes.”

With this debut, Si Nonna’s brings a new chapter of soulful, artisanal dining to the city – one that blends the warmth of an Italian grandmother’s kitchen with the bold, ever-evolving spirit of Hyderabad.
