This spring summer 2026, p é r o invites you into a world of playful imagination – a result of an unexpected moment: a mother’s closet left open and her kids armed with crayons, sharpies and colour pencils. An accident for some, we call these DOODLES – imagination set free.

p é r o – DOODLES draws from the instinct of children to mark, scribble, paint, and repeat — to cover walls, floors, paper, textiles, skin, and space with feeling rather than intention.

These doodles are not decorative; they are declarations.

Acts of presence. Proof of being here.

In this world, textile becomes a surface and garments become a canvas.

Lines wander, colors interrupt, forms overlap.

There is no hierarchy between “finished” and “unfinished,” only the joy of expression in motion. What matters is the act itself — the freedom to respond, to play, to leave a trace.

Building on our signature textiles of classic checks and Mashru stripes, the collection introduces exquisite new materials like Tangalia and handwoven linen gauze, blending tradition with fresh textures.

Innovative techniques such as appliqué, patchwork, and fabric flower stickers bring a crafty, handmade feel, complemented by their signature beadwork, French knots, and crochet. Neon seam accents on crisp kora white garments highlight intricate details, while playful pom-poms, bright neon buttons, and colorful tassels add a lively, unexpected twist.

The colour palette balances serene whites and beiges with electric bursts of neon, tomato red, electric blue, and primary green-punctuated by a striking shocking Indian Rani pink, the season’s bold “joker” shade.

Every print and embroidery draws inspiration from children’s sketches, capturing the spontaneity of hand-drawn DOODLES and crayon strokes. This playful aesthetic carries through the entire collection, celebrating imperfection and creativity with a free-spirited charm.
