Anshula Kapoor in Punit Balana for her Chooda Ceremony

For her Chooda ceremony, Anshula Kapoor wore a bespoke sage green kurta set by Punit Balana, thoughtfully designed to reflect the sentiment and significance of one of the most cherished pre-wedding rituals. Rendered in a soft sage hue, the ensemble is adorned with the designer’s signature Chandi Tilla embroidery, meticulously handcrafted to celebrate the richness of Indian craftsmanship.

The kurta is paired with a contemporary interpretation of the classic Patiala salwar, balancing effortless elegance with comfort, while a heavily embellished dupatta lends a regal finishing touch to the ensemble.

Speaking about the look, designer Punit Balana shares, “Being a Punjabi, I deeply understand the emotional significance of the Chooda ceremony not just for the bride, but for the entire family. Designing this outfit for Anshula, with whom I share a long-standing bond, made this creation incredibly personal and special. It was an honour to be a small part of such a meaningful celebration in her life.”
