Two Rooms, One Night: Room One, Goa Takes Over Tomo Kei
Some bars serve drinks. Room One serves a whole world, and for one night, that world is coming to Bangalore.
This 6th August, Tomo Kei at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center hands over its bar to Room One of the contemporary art and cocktail bars from Assagao, Goa, is currently ranked No. 23 in the country by 30 Best Bars India. For one evening, that spirit lands in Tomo Kei’s considered, art-forward space, and the pairing feels less like a collaboration and more like two kindred rooms finally meeting.
Leading the bar are Juvin and Rutwij, known for turning a simple pour into a small performance. The menu moves from Love You Data, a savoury, funky play of mezcal and strawberry gochujang, to Disco Drama’s easy-going gin and clear passion fruit, Coconut Panic’s bright whisky and tender coconut, and Problem Child, an earthy, fiery cognac finished with an absinthe mist. Alongside, Tomo Kei keeps pace with grilled corn ribs, pan-seared gyoza, and crispy Peruvian potatoes. Low light, good conversation, one night only.
