Superstar Salman Khan launched Sooraj Pancholi with his home productions Hero, and now unveils the first look poster of his newbie actor’s third film, Hawa Singh.
Actor Salman Khan shared the poster on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Hawa se baatein karega singh…#HawaSinghBiopic @Sooraj9pancholi”
Sooraj Pancholi will be seen playing the boxer Captain Hawa Singh in the forthcoming biopic. The actor is looking bulky and ripped on the first look poster. The film is directed by Prakash Nambiar and produced by Kamlesh Singh Kushwaha and Sam S Fernandes. The shooting for the same will start soon.
Hawa Singh was an Indian Heavyweight boxer, who dominated Indian and Asian amateur boxing for a decade in his weight class. He won the Asian Games gold medal in Heavyweight category in consecutive editions of the games in the 1966 Asiad and the 1970 Asiad both held in Bangkok, Thailand – a feat unmatched by any Indian boxer to date (August 2008). He won the National Championships in the Heavyweight category a record 11 consecutive times — from 1961 to 1972.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is busy with Radhe, which is directed by Prabhu Deva. It is produced by Sohail Khan under the banner of Reel Life Productions Private Limited. The film also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. It is scheduled to be released on 22 May 2020, the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
As for Sooraj Pancholi, he was last seen in Satellite Shankar, which bombed at the box-office. He is also shooting for Time to Dance.
