Poove Unakkaga – Kalluri Vaasal – 1996
Ajith and Vijay’s movies collided for the second time during the same year in 1996. The Tamil audience loves the movie Poove Unakkaga, which stars Vijay. The movie, which played in theatres for more than 150 days, is still significant to actor Vijay’s career. But actor Ajith played a secondary stage actor in the film Kalluri Vaasal. The movie, which starred Prashant Thiagarajan in the lead role, didn’t receive much attention.
Kadhalukku Mariyadhai – Rettai Jadai Vayasu – 1997
On the exact same day in 1997, Vijay’s Kadhalukku Mariyadhai & Ajith’s Rettai Jadai Vayasu were both released. Thirumalai – Anjaneya – 2003
Anjaneya, starring actor Ajith, and Thirumalai, starring actor Vijay, both debuted on October 23, 2003. Vijay’s Thirumalai turned a modest profit, whereas Ajith’s Anjaneya was a complete failure.
Aadhi – Paramasivan – 2006
Paramasivan, a film starring actor Ajith, and Aadhi, a film starring Vijay, were both released on January 14 of 2006. Aadhi was a flop, whereas Ajith’s Paramasivan was a hit with the audience.
Pokiri – Aalwar – 2007
On January 12, 2007, Pongal saw the release of actor Vijay’s Pokkiri, which was helmed by Prabhu Deva. Pokkiri received a lot of positive reviews and was hailed as the year’s biggest hit. Despite being released on the same day, actor Ajith’s film Aalwar received little attention.
Jilla – Veeram – 2014
2014’s Pongal saw the release of actors Vijay’s Jilla and Ajith’s Veeram. Fans adore the village story in Veeram, in which Siruthai Siva and Ajith starred, and Nelson’s Jilla.
