ISRO Launches Aditya L1: India’s Mission to Shed Light on the Sun

After the success of Chandrayaan 3, The Indian Space Research Organization or ISRO launched Aditya L1 yesterday. Aditya L1 is India’s mission on illuminating the secrets of the sun. This sent ripples of excitement throughout the scientific community and space enthusiasts worldwide. Meanwhile, this ambitious mission of ISRO right after the success of lunar mission, aims to revolutionize our understanding of the sun, our nearest star and unlock the invaluable insights into the complex and dynamic nature of our solar system.

India’s first solar mission is followed by the historical landing of Vikram Lander on South Pole of Lunar Surface. Thereby, beating the powerful country, Russia to become the first nation to land on South Pole of the Moon. When it comes to Aditya L1, the successfully injected spacecraft is designed to travel about 1.5 million km.
