DOU Brew Room & Bakehouse Presents Summer Fields — A Seasonal Celebration of Fresh Flavours and Shared Dining

DOU Brew Room & Bakehouse introduces Summer Fields, a special seasonal menu designed as a vibrant culinary celebration of summer’s freshest ingredients, lighter textures, and bold seasonal flavours. Available from May 15th to May 31st, 2026, the limited-period menu will be served across DOU’s Alwarpet and Nungambakkam outlets in Chennai.

Conceived as both a dining experience and a reason to gather, Summer Fields reflects the kitchen’s desire to move beyond the everyday and embrace the vivid produce and inspirations of the season. Rooted in modern European culinary techniques, the menu showcases ingredients at their seasonal peak — from juicy watermelon and fresh figs to bay prawns and tender asparagus — thoughtfully transformed into dishes that are bright, expressive, and ideal for leisurely summer dining.

Designed around the spirit of sharing, Summer Fields encourages guests to explore the menu together, moving fluidly between starters and mains while discovering contrasting textures, refreshing combinations, and layered flavours across the table.

The menu unfolds in two distinct chapters; Cool Greens opens the experience with a refreshing line-up of salads and chilled soups that capture the lightness of the season. Highlights include the Bay Prawn and Arugula Salad with mango carpaccio and caramelised walnuts, the Smoked Chicken and Wild Mushroom Salad, and a chilled Cucumber and Celery Soup finished with strawberry gel and yoghurt foam.

The experience then progresses into Entre, a collection of signature plates crafted for indulgent shared dining. Standout dishes include the Pizza Prosciutto and Grilled Figs with goat cheese and balsamic honey, the Spiced Beer Braised Tiger Prawn served on organic red rice, Confit Chicken Legs paired with couscous risotto, and a comforting Linguine Aglio e Olio prepared with homemade pasta, asparagus, and sundried tomato.
