Australian Singing Sensation & The Voice Australia 2024 Winner – Reuben De Melo – To Perform Live in Chennai for the First Time

 Chennai is set for a one-of-its-kind musical experience as The Voice Australia 2024 winner and fast-rising global artist Reuben De Melo arrives in India for a special showcase. The acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter will perform live for the first time in Chennai on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, at Radio Room, Chennai, presented as part of his India tour.

The event – “A Night with Reuben De Melo”- is produced by “Privé 11” by Leo Coffee, supported by Invest and Trade Western Australia, and presented by Strikr Integrated, with ArtVizha as art partner and Radio Room as the venue partner.

The evening will feature a vibrant and immersive musical journey curated to give Chennai an unforgettable night. The show opens with a powerful set by Reuben De Melo, setting the tone with his signature soulful style, after which vocalist Aishvarya and the ensemble join in with a dynamic commercial fusion segment. The performance then flows into a celebratory regional music showcase. With influences spanning English, Hindi, and Tamil, the night brings together global artistry and local flavour, an eclectic combination that Chennai will experience for the very first time. Reuben will be accompanied by a five-piece band featuring vocalists Gopi and Shruti, along with Vinay – the drummer and keyboardist Siddharth who add depth and rhythm to this cross-cultural performance.

Born in Goa and based in Western Australia, Reuben De Melo is one of Australia’s most compelling new voices. His signature blend of indie folk, roots, country, and pop, paired with a raw, soulful vocal style, has won widespread admiration across the country.

With an upcoming single featuring LeAnn Rimes, a new EP underway, and a national tour scheduled for 2025, Reuben is taking his music global, and Chennai is among the first international cities to witness him live.
