Global Sports Pickleball Announces Season 2 Pro & Challenger League Auction in Mumbai

Global Sports Pickleball (GSP), a name increasingly becoming synonymous with pickleball in India, is excited to announce the auction for Season 2 of its Pro & Challenger League. The event will take place on September 7, 2025, in Mumbai. This season features ten teams, who will be bidding for five players each in Pro and Challenger categories.

The auction aims to further boost pickleball’s profile in the country, as for the first time in India, a live auction of this scale in Pickleball is taking place. GSP’s live auction will bring together top professionals and emerging talent, where teams will bid from the biggest player pool for an auction in India.

The event will be streamed live on YouTube, making the action accessible to fans in India and abroad.

Over the past two years, GSP has been building a complete ecosystem for pickleball—creating courts, selling gear, and hosting clinics and tournaments in India and Dubai. The league calendar also includes flagship events like the Indian Open and the Grand Slam, marking more milestones in GSP’s mission to globalize the sport.
