Tree of Peace Illuminated at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road in a Heartfelt Evening of Unity and Harmony
Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road hosted a meaningful and heart-warming Tree Lighting Ceremony bringing together the French Consulate, prominent media, celebrated personalities, and Bengaluru’s social community for an intimate celebration of peace, culture, and togetherness.
The Tree of Peace was ceremonially illuminated, marking a symbolic moment of collective reflection. Guests were invited to participate in a thoughtful ritual by placing miniature flags representing various countries onto the tree, each accompanied by a personal note of hope and harmony for the year ahead—beautifully symbolising the unity of diverse cultures under one peaceful light.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Consulate General of France, Mr. Mark Lamy, whose attendance added a special dimension to the evening. As Accor is a French hospitality company, his presence further illuminated the occasion, reinforcing the cultural bonds and shared values celebrated throughout the event.
The presence of renowned Indian actors Anupam Kher and Vinay Pathak added both star power and heartfelt warmth to the evening, making the celebration even more memorable for all attendees.
Hosted by Mr. Sandeep Johri, General Manager, Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road, the event opened with a warm welcome, where he spoke about the significance of the Tree of Peace and the spirit of the festive season.
