About Abhi Meer
As a touring DJ, radio host and music critic, 30-year-old Abhi Meer from the island city of Mumbai has his hands pretty full. Employing a methodical, research-like approach to the dance floor as a selector, Abhi in the last few years has had the privilege of deejaying at club gigs, festivals and residencies at home and around the world. In recent months, he’s represented Resident Advisor at the Magnetic Fields Festival alongside Call Super, and played New Delhi’s first Boiler Room.
Spacejams
Mumbai based DJ, Spacejams is known for blending tracks of various genres ranging from early acid house, pounding techno, unadulterated tech, bass, new wave, indie dance, disco. Spacejams is Yohann Jamsandekar, who cut his teeth mixing music as part of Mumbai’s infamous, long-running party crew Bhavishyavani. A current resident DJ for the Milkman party series which has seen him open for the likes of Optimo, Helena hauff and Stingray this year. His wide-ranging selections and mercurial mixing style lead to raucous, high-energy sets that can be relied on to ignite the dancefloor. To anyone familiar with his jacked up taste in music this should come as little surprise. He could make you break dance, brain dance or just end up giving you a good old fashioned body massage.
