Shilpa Shetty Kundra was interacting with News Helpline to promote ‘Super Dancer – Chapter 4’ along with her fellow judges Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapur on Friday in Mumbai.

After three seasons, the trio – Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu – will be seen as the judges of the dance reality show for kids yet again. Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi will again be seen as the hosts of this season. The show will air on Sony Entertainment Television.

Talking about the show, Shilpa said, “I think all of us are really excited for the show. I have met Geeta (Kapoor) and Anurag (Basu) after a long gap of one and a half years. It has been a fantastic show and this is the fourth season of it. As usual, Sony TV scouts the best talent in the country, so I am really looking forward to being on the sets of the show.”

The virtual auditions of the show began from January 26 for the kids. Interested candidates need to fill in a detailed registration form and upload up to two of their dance video(s) on SonyLIV app. After clearing the digital auditions, the selected contestants will be invited to Mumbai for a Studio Round, where they will showcase their talent to the panel of judges, talking about audition process of the show, Shilpa said, “This time we are conducting online auditions for the show because the situation is very different as compared to earlier seasons.  During Covid-19 Pandemic, people have changed their working patterns, so I think digital auditions are the way forward. I would urge people to register the entry of their kids till 25th February. Now, safety protocols will be the top most priority for us and the kids who will participate in the show.”

Talking about how she spent time during nationwide lockdown, Shilpa said, “I spent a lot of time with my kids. I always think we can’t plan things and during the pandemic, my daughter was born, so I feel that I couldn’t have planned it better than that. This period (pandemic) has been very tough for many people, so my heart goes out for them. I think the one thing that is common for most people is the kind of time we have spent with our families; I think that has become a priority in my life. In our lives, we all are constantly trying to achieve something or the other but now that thing has changed for me.”

Shilpa got married to Raj Kundra on 22 November 2009. The couple had a second child, a girl, on 15 February 2020 via surrogacy. On daughter Samisha’s first birthday, Shilpa Shetty Kundra paid a visit to Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple along with her husband on Monday. The couple are also parents to son Viaan, who also accompanied them to the temple and its pictures went viral on social media, talking about it, Shilpa said, “Most of us have tradition that we take out our new born child after competing his or her 40th day for a temple visit but we didn’t get the opportunity due to pandemic so, we thought that we will seek Siddhi Vianyak’s blessing when she will complete one year and fortunately on that day, it was Ganapati Jayanti. We took a lot of safety measures before taking her as we visited the temple early in the morning. I am thankful that people have showered blessings for my daughter on social media.”

On film front, Shilpa Shetty Kundra will feature in Priyadarshan directorial ‘Hungama 4’ along with Paresh Rawal, Meezan Jaffery and Pranitha Subhash. She is also a part of Sabbir Khan’s ‘Nikkama’ alongside Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.
