Volkswagen India celebrates yet another milestone with the commencement of local assembly for the Tayron R-Line in India. Assembled at the plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Tayron R-Line begins rolling off the production line in- sync with the brand’s launch plan of quarter one in 2026.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Piyush Arora, MD & CEO, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India said, “The start of production for another world-class model – the Tayron R-Line at our Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility represents a strategic step forward for Volkswagen India’s SUV portfolio. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to putting the customer at the heart of our engineering, ensuring every detail resonates with the lifestyle and aspirations of our patrons. We aim to deliver a distinctive choice for premium SUV customers while reinforcing our operational strength and readiness to meet the evolving expectations of the Indian automotive market.”
