The festive season commenced on a delightful note at Raffles Jaipur with its Annual Cake Mixing Ceremony, held on 15th November 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. This cherished tradition brought together guests and friends of the hotel in a warm, intimate celebration that marks the beginning of Christmas festivities.
Hosted at Safir, Raffles Jaipur, the evening featured the traditional fruit-mixing ritual – a symbolic celebration of joy and abundance. Guests participated in blending a medley of fruits and spirits that will be used to prepare the hotel’s Christmas cakes. The event was designed as a comfortable seating experience, with appetizers served at the table and festive beverages such as eggnog and wine adding to the charm. Guests were gifted Raffles-branded aprons, cakes, and cookies, making for thoughtful takeaways that captured the essence of the season.
A highlight of the evening was the Raffles Jaipur mulled wine tradition – an aromatic blend of dried fruits, citrus, and spices such as cinnamon and star anise. Prepared using fruits soaked from the previous year, this signature creation embodies the care and craftsmanship that define Raffles. Its warm fragrance filled the air, creating a comforting festive mood that resonated through the evening.
The atmosphere came alive with live cello music, adding a touch of refinement and grace to the celebration. Guests enjoyed the melodic notes as they engaged in the age-old ritual, celebrating the joy of togetherness and the anticipation of the holiday season.
