Jemimah Rodrigues Joins Tvarra as Investor Partner
The equity-led partnership reinforces the brand’s focus on women-centric safety, design, and everyday mobility The move signals a shift from celebrity endorsement to long-term ownership
For many women in India, riding a scooter alone for the first time is more than just mobility. It’s a moment of independence and a quiet boost of confidence.
A first step into taking ownership of one’s journey.
Tvarra was born from that moment.
The Indian helmet brand created exclusively for women, Tvarra today announced the onboarding of Indian cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues as Investor Partner , in a long-term, equity-led partnership rooted in shared values of discipline, independence, and building something that lasts.
Known for her energy, consistency, and belief-driven approach both on and off the field, Jemimah brings a mindset that closely aligns with Tvarra’s ethos. Her emphasis on preparation, ownership, and long-term thinking mirrors the brand’s belief that safety cannot be an afterthought — it has to be designed with intent.
Founded by Alpana Parida, Tvarra set out to address a long-standing gap in the two-wheeler safety ecosystem. While women ride in large numbers across India, helmets were rarely designed with them in mind. Most available options were scaled-down versions of men’s products—often heavier than required, uncomfortable, and ill-fitting due to mismatched sizing and balance.
Tvarra chose a different path.
Designed from the ground up for women riders, the brand builds certified, safety-led helmets that account for women’s head sizes, weight distribution, hair, earrings, and everyday urban commuting needs—without compromising on protection. Tvarra helmets are ISI-certified for Indian roads and DOT-certified, meeting global safety benchmarks while remaining practical for daily use.
But Tvarra’s vision goes beyond helmets.
“Every woman deserves the freedom to step out into the world with confidence,” said Alpana Parida, Founder, Tvarra. “Whether it’s riding to college, heading to work, or pursuing something meaningful to her, safety should never be a barrier. Jemimah’s discipline, energy, and clarity of purpose reflect exactly how we think about building safety — thoughtfully, responsibly, and for the long term.”
Unlike conventional celebrity associations, Jemimah Rodrigues’ role at Tvarra is not about endorsement—it’s about ownership.
As Investor Partner , she will be actively involved in shaping the brand’s long-term vision, advocating responsible riding, and strengthening conversations around women taking charge of their safety and ambition.
“Sport teaches you preparation, consistency, and belief,” said Jemimah Rodrigues, Investor Partner , Tvarra. “Everyday life teaches women the same things. Mobility builds confidence. Safety builds courage. Tvarra is building both—and that’s why this partnership feels personal to me.”
Tvarra helmets are engineered for everyday scooter riders, particularly young women navigating short urban commutes. Features include lightweight certified shells, hair-safe interiors, earring-friendly design, and optical-grade clear visors. The brand is currently present across 600+ cities through online channels and is preparing to expand into offline retail as part of its 2026 roadmap.
Looking ahead, Tvarra plans to introduce additional categories, including helmets for younger riders aged 5–16, as it works towards building a broader safety ecosystem for all.
Because every woman deserves the freedom to ride forward—safely.
