Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut along with entire cast and crew has kick—started the shoot of her first ever film Tejas, where she will be seen playing a pilot.
Helmed by debutant director Sarvesh Mewara, and bankrolled by RSVP movies, the shoot for the film have started.
The official handle of RSVP Movies just dropped the first day shoot pictures on the social media. They captioned it, “A new journey begins at RSVP. #Tejas is ready to fly! Airplane @sarveshmewara1 @KanganaTeam @RonnieScrewvala @nonabains”
Tejas is most ambitious project of Kangana Ranaut, she plays an air force pilot in the film. Just yesterday, actress praised the debutante filmmaker on her Twitter profile.
“Writer-Director of #Tejas struggled for more than a decade to get his first break, yesterday on the first day of the shoot his mother broke down, reminded me of my family who hung in there hoping to find a silver lining, not easy for outsiders, Kudos to our chief @sarveshmewara1,” she tweeted.
Tejas is the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, played by Kangana Ranaut. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country’s defence forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016. The film takes inspiration from this landmark event.
Apart from Tejas, Kangana is also busy with series of projects, such as Manikarnika Returns – Legend Of Diddo, biopic on Indira Gandhi, Dhakaad and Thalaivi.
