Life n Colors Launches its First Experiential Centre: A Curated Destination for Design-Led Living

Designed like a lived-in canvas, the centre features a hallway drenched in Mughal art, a reading nook with Roman wallpapers, and storytelling-driven interiors under one roof

Life n Colors, a leading name in India’s design landscape, has today announced the launch of its first experiential centre in Gurugram, bringing its design philosophy into a physical space where customers can engage with textures, patterns, and stories firsthand.

Designed by the founder, Apourva herself, this new experiential centre flips the script on home decor retail, offering no sterile displays or overwhelming racks – just design that lives, breathes, and feels like your next home. Staying true to the brand’s philosophy- design that feels, not just functions – the 800 sq. ft. centre brings together wallpapers and wall art, while also marking Life n Colors’ expansion into soft furnishings, fabric lamps, table linen, and curtains, all presented through fully realised lifestyle zones.

With this launch, “We’ve always believed that design is deeply personal – it should reflect who you are, not just what’s trending. This space is about helping people curate, not just decorate. Every product here has been designed to offer visual harmony and emotional resonance within a home,” says Apourva, Co-founder and Creative Director, Life n Colors.

Over the past decade, Life n Colors has built its identity by fusing traditional Indian and international art with modern design sensibilities. Inspired by Persian tilework, Baroque gold, Chinese minimalism, and Indian miniature and Mughal traditions, blending centuries of global and Indian artistry into contemporary interior expressions.

Closer to home, Warli-inspired prints reinterpret Maharashtra’s tribal art into bold, graphic compositions, while ceiling-focused pieces like the Maharaja Maharani Canopy revive Mughal and Rajput architecture in contemporary formats. The new experiential centre brings all these influences together, translating centuries-old art into layered, tactile environments that speak to today’s design-aware homeowners. The launch of this centre also marks the brand’s deepened focus on global design influences.

Earlier this year, Life n Colors introduced Amazora – a wallpaper collection that moves beyond Indian heritage and embraces a global palette, drawing from Japanese ink art, Latin folk motifs, and Scandinavian minimalism. The collection experiments with finishes like sand-wash textures, soft-touch mattes, and layered metallics, showcasing the brand’s growing emphasis on tactile design and cross-cultural storytelling.

“We’ve seen a clear shift in how Indian consumers engage with their living spaces – they’re design-aware, digitally inspired, and looking for cohesive yet customisable solutions. Our experiential centre is a response to that – a physical manifestation of what Life n Colors has always stood for: making design approachable, sustainable, layered, and truly personal,” says Ashutosh Pandey, Co-founder and Business Head, Life n Colors.

Customisation remains a key feature at the experiential centre. Clients can choose from diverse art forms or share personal inspirations, which the team transforms into bespoke wallpapers and furnishings through close collaboration with in-house designers and artisans. On-site experts provide instant swatches and digital mock-ups, helping customers visualise their ideas with guided support throughout the process.

With this launch, Life n Colors has created more than just a store –  it’s an experience. A space that invites discovery, encourages conversation, and inspires creativity.
