Bengaluru welcomes a new addition to its social and culinary landscape with the launch of Suka, a Zanzibar-inspired tropical brewery envisioned as a serene retreat within the city. Crafted across an expansive layout, the destination has been designed as a 2000 + seater, positioning Suka as one of the region’s most significant hospitality openings. The brewery introduces a refreshing sense of scale and atmosphere, marking a new chapter for the neighbourhood’s evolving dining culture.
Rooted in the meaning of its name, Suka translates to happiness or bliss in Kannada. The destination embodies this sentiment through an environment shaped by palms, flowing water elements, natural textures and warm earth-toned details. The atmosphere evokes the calm of a tropical escape, offering guests a setting that feels refreshing, comforting and naturally immersive from the moment they step inside.
The design draws inspiration from coastal landscapes and forest rich terrains, interpreted with a modern sensibility. Spread across 1.85 lakh square feet, the space features botanical pockets, tree trunk-inspired columns, gazebos and a striking indoor waterfall that anchors the visual identity. Its thoughtful zoning and expansive layout allow for relaxed afternoons by the water, intimate gatherings within secluded sections and celebratory evenings that flow effortlessly across the space. The architecture and landscaping work together to create a destination that feels both expansive and cocooned, bringing a new level of design-led hospitality to Nagarbhavi.
