Taj City Centre Gurugram is delighted to announce the appointment of Chef Akshay Kumar as its new Executive Chef. With over 15 years of experience across marquee Taj properties, Executive Chef Akshay brings with him a wealth of culinary expertise and a proven track record of operational excellence.
In his new role, Executive Chef Akshay will spearhead the hotel’s culinary strategy – driving innovation, enhancing guest experiences, and ensuring seamless execution across all dining formats. Trained at IHM Chennai and the Taj Management Training Program, his career began at the iconic Taj Palace, New Delhi, and evolved through key culinary roles across India. His work has earned industry accolades, including the Best Chef – Continental Cuisine award by the Ministry of Tourism, Telangana (2023), and the Thai Select Signature Certification from the Royal Thai Government for Thai Pavilion.
