Kalyan Jewellers supplies one-gram gold rings under Tamil Nadu Government’s ‘Thaimaman Thanga Mothiram Thittam’

Kalyan Jewellers India Limited has supplied one-gram, 22-carat, 916-grade BIS-hallmarked gold rings under the Tamil Nadu Government’s ‘Thaimaman Thanga Mothiram Thittam’, a welfare initiative for eligible newborns delivered at government hospitals across the state.

As part of the initiative, Kalyan Jewellers has supplied 38,550 gold rings, which have been manufactured, hallmarked and delivered to designated locations as specified by the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation (TNMSC).

The rings were formally handed over to newborns today at the Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai, with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay presenting the rings to children as part of the statewide launch of the scheme.

Commenting on the occasion, T.S.
