This Valentine’s Day, Helen’s Place invites Bengaluru to step into an experience that feels gently transported. Inspired by the warmth and romance of Porto, Helen’s Place is known for its intimate beauty, soft lighting, layered textures, and a sense of calm that encourages guests to slow down, settle in, and let the table lead the experience.
At its heart, Helen’s Place is a celebration of provenance and restraint. Under the guidance of Abhrajyoti Nandy, Executive Chef at Helen’s Place, ingredients are treated with respect, flavours are allowed to unfold naturally, and each dish leans into comfort without excess. For Valentine’s Day, the kitchen presents a thoughtfully curated edit — one that reflects the spirit of belonging and lingering.
The savoury plates speak of slow cooking and depth: Beef Meatballs with Creamy Polenta arrive rich and comforting; Creamy Hummus with Slow-Cooked Lamb layers earthiness and warmth; Tenderloin finished with Mushroom Ragù Cream and Chimichurri balances richness with freshness. Red Wine–Braised Chicken brings bold, fall-apart tenderness to the table, while Grilled Salmon with Prosecco Cream offers a lighter, celebratory counterpoint, soft and luminous in texture.
Desserts carry the evening into its sweeter moments, Helen’s Sweet Scandal, indulgent and playful, followed by French Toast with Crème Brûlée, nostalgic and comforting, with crackled caramel and soft custard at its core.
At the bar, the Valentine’s experience is shaped by Sagar Sarki, Head of Mixology at Helen’s Place. Cocktails echo the same philosophy of balance and expression; The Promise blends tequila with chamoy, grenadine and pickled grape; Lovestruck pairs jasmine vodka with Earl Grey bianco, chamomile, peach and lime; while Wild & Free brings together raspberry vodka and lemongrass oleo for a bright, vibrant pour.
Complementing the Valentine’s menu, guests can expect live music on the evening of 14th February, adding to the atmosphere, along with a few sweet surprises designed to be discovered rather than announced.
