COMMONS at DLF Avenue, Saket Launches Its New Chef Table Series
An intimate culinary and cultural gathering bringing together celebrated chefs, authors, tastemakers, and India’s leading food connoisseurs
COMMONS, the dining and culinary district at DLF Avenue, Saket, is set to launch its new culinary IP, the Chef Table Series, with an exclusive inaugural edition on 20th May 2026 at Flow, DLF Avenue.
Conceived as an intimate evening celebrating food, literature, culture, and conversation, the event, in collaboration with The Author’s Deck, will bring together some of the most respected names from the culinary world for a curated gathering of select HNIs, tastemakers, restaurateurs, and food enthusiasts.
The evening will be headlined by Padma Shri Dr. Pushpesh Pant, one of India’s most respected food historians, critics, and culinary scholars, who joins as the Chief Guest. Widely recognised for his contribution to documenting and preserving Indian culinary heritage, Dr. Pant has authored several acclaimed books, including India: The Cookbook, and has been honoured with the Padma Shri for his contribution to literature and education.
The event will feature renowned names including Michelin-starred Chef Michael Swamy, celebrated for his refined culinary style and contribution to India’s contemporary food landscape; Rohini Rana, a prominent culinary historian, author, and expert on Nepalese royal cuisine, recognised for documenting the country’s rich culinary heritage through acclaimed works including The Rana Cookbook: Recipes from the Palaces of Nepal (2021); and acclaimed author-chef Yash Saxena, best known for Stories from a Kargili Kitchen. The evening is being curated alongside Sunayana Chibba, founder of The Author’s Deck.
Designed as an intimate experience for an exclusive guest list of HNIs, tastemakers, and food enthusiasts, the evening will include insightful conversations around culinary journeys, published works, signature dishes, and evolving food culture. Guests will also witness chefs presenting their own creative interpretations of select dishes from Flow’s menu, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
With curated bites, meaningful conversations, and celebrated culinary talent under one roof, the Chef Table Series aims to position COMMONS as a vibrant destination where food meets culture, community, and conversation.
