Once a week for the following months, Thalapathy 67 has always been in the news. At last, the announcement took place on January 30. Lokesh Kanagaraj will helm the upcoming movie Thalapathy 67, which producer Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio announced on social media. It’s their third time working with Vijay on a movie. The movie is currently being shot in Tamil Nadu, where production got underway on January 2.
Lokesh Kanagaraj posted a photo of himself and Vijay on social media with the caption, “Good evening guys! More than happy to join hands with @actorvijay na once again #Thalapathy67.”Additionally, it was disclosed that Anirudh Ravichander would write the music for the movie. The technical team includes the director of photography Manoj Paramahamsa, the editor Philomin Raj, the choreographer and stunt performers Dinesh and Anbariv, as well as the art director Sathees Kumar. The dialogue for the movie will be written by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar, as well as Deeraj Vaidy.
People have been speculating about Thalapathy 67 joining the universe of director Lokesh’s films that also includes Kaithi and Vikram ever since he shared the announcement on social media lately. One of Tamil cinema’s biggest box office successes after the pandemic was Master, the duo’s previous movie.
The movie will now be released on October 19; however, the title has not yet been decided. Filming for the movie has already begun in Chennai under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the crew will head to Kashmir within the first week of February to begin a lengthy, 60-day schedule. Since Mysskin, the director and actor, lacked dates to travel to Kashmir, he and Mysskin shot some scenes in Kodaikanal. Vijay will appear in Kashmir alongside Sanjay Dutt and the rest of the cast.
Vijay and Trisha reunite after 14 years:
Trisha is now officially confirmed by the film’s producers to be a part of the action-thriller starring Vijay. Audiences may recall the uproar brought on by the song “Apdi Podu,” which is still well-liked today. The lead couple from the movie Ghilli, Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan, were featured in the song. It goes without saying that the movie was a success, and the two are still winning people over with their performances. Now, more than ten years later, the popular on-screen couple is making a triumphant return to the big screen in Thalapathy 67.
After about 14 years and the phenomenal success of Ghilli, Vijay and Trisha will make their big-screen comeback with this movie. They have previously worked together on films like Kuruvi and Thirupaachi. Reporter Rajasekar posted on his Twitter account about the pair making a comeback as a screen pair in Thalapathy 67 to clarify the news. Trisha Krishnan is currently experiencing a high thanks to the success of Ponniyin Selvan, aka PS1, while Thalapathy Vijay is soaring on the success of Varisu. In April 2023, the follow-up to Mani Ratnam’s monumental film is scheduled for release. Recently, the actress finished production on Brinda, her first OTT series in which she plays a police officer.
