On the occasion of Dhanush’s 40th birthday (July 28th), the makers of his upcoming film released Captain Miller teaser. They unveiled the teaser video on the early hours of Friday. The video shows the talented actor involving in high action sequences. With the release of the teaser, Dhanush’s Captain Miller takes Tamil Cinema to the next level.
Captain Miller teaser features Dhanush as Captain Miller, a ‘wanted dacoit’. The actor seems to have a rugged look along with long hair and beard. The teaser shows a ghastly scene of Dhanush killing his opponent with an axe. He is seen carrying weapons throughout the gripping teaser. It also shows actor Shiva Rajkumar riding on the horse with weapons, young actor Sundeep Kishan with gun and Priyanka Mohan holding a gun as well.
The teaser begins with the hunt for ‘wanted dacoit’ or Captain Miller. Towards the end of it, a person (Dhanush) appears with a reward poster of finding Captain Miller (aka) Eesa and Analeesan in his hand. There is also a speculation that the actor is playing dual roles in the film. However, we have to wait for the film’s release.
Helmed by Arund Matheswaran, Captain Miller is slated to release on 15th December 2023. As the film is a period action drama, the background is set in 1930s, which means the pre-independence era. The film’s cast includes Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, Nassae, Mark Bennington and many others. GV Prakash is roped in as Music Director for the film.
