Decoding Kiara and Sidharth’s Royal Wedding in Rajasthan

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are officially now recognised as husband and wife. Yesterday morning, February 7, the couple got hitched, and their debut photos are taking the internet by storm. They started dating after falling in love while working on the Shershaah set. The lavish Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, served as the venue for their wedding celebrations. Just before the nuptials, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra had their haldi, mehendi, as well as sangeet. Let’s go over everything you need to know about Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s Rajasthan royal wedding in this post.

Using her Instagram profile, Kiara Advani posted images from her special day. She was a stunning bride, no doubt about it. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra appeared to be a modern-day prince of India. They made a stunning couple, and as was to be anticipated, the bride and groom’s photos are equally captivating. In contrast to Sid, who looked dapper in an off-white sherwani with golden embroidery, Kiara chose a baby pink lehenga.

The first images show Sid and Kiara sitting across from one another, their hands folded, and their faces beaming broadly. The couple can be seen grinning brightly in their wedding photos, where they appear to be seated on the mandap. The third photo, which is the cutest, shows Sidharth planting a kiss on his wife’s face. “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai,” Kiara wrote in the caption of the images she shared.

The Bride and Groom’s Attire and Makeup:
The Bride

For all of us romantics who grew up watching Bollywood in the 1990s and the early 2000s, Manish Malhotra was “the” surreal fashion designer. As she opted to wear a Manish Malhotra outfit for her big day, Kiara Advani exemplified how she had lived that dream for every one of us. She achieved the optimum combination between glam and minimalism by going for a modern look with a hint of tradition. Kiara’s lehenga had a soft rose-toned colour scheme and also was subtly and skillfully embroidered with sequins and crystals. In comparison to her pastel lehenga, the statement emerald and diamond necklace was the focal point of her outfit. She finished it off with a pair of enormous pairing stud earrings, a maang tikka, kaleeras, as well as a haath phool.

Kalira

As it highlighted their love story, Kiara’s kaleera attracted a lot of attention. It includes the couple’s initials, their beloved pet and stars, moon and butterflies. The creator of these stunning kaleeras, Mrinalini Chandra, also shared the origin of them on her Instagram account. Kiara styled her hair in an elegant, low bun with deep pink flowers to draw attention away from her attire and accessories and to the sleek, low bun. Kiara decided to add a tiny red bindi as well as a netted veil with a magenta border and sparse embroidery to further her adherence to Indian culture.

Lekha Gupta, a well-known celebrity makeup artist, and Saloni Jain managed to keep Kiara’s makeup subtle with rose undertones that perfectly matched her lehenga without being garish. This was a “day wedding look 101” that actually worked: flawless foundation, blush that matches your skin tone, long, natural lashes, as well as rosy lips and eyes. She looked absolutely beautiful in her bridal attire, and the mehendi was also nuanced.

The Groom

Regarding the groom’s special-day attire, Sidharth Malhotra chose the “A unique Manish Malhotra design is the ideal fusion of whimsical and dreamy. Sidharth radiates old-world charm while flaunting a metallic gold sherwani with a stunning royal lustre. The sherwani has our traditional logos, hints of ivory threadwork, gold zardozi, and badla work, all of which were meticulously handcrafted ” in their Instagram caption, the designer stated.

The beautifully crafted Manish Malhotra Polki Jewellery by Raniwala 1881, which was adorned with incredibly fine uncut diamonds, gave the groom his final touch.

The start of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s romance took place on the sets of Shershaah, the first collaboration of the star couple. One of the few Bollywood attendees who participated in the wedding, Karan Johar, backed the movie. The celebrations for Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding lasted three days. Prior to the big day, the ceremony on February 7, 2023, the sangeet, haldi, as well as mehendi ceremonies were held on the 5th and 6th of February.
