Gautam started his career in television and his big win in Bigg Boss made him transitioned from television to films. His filmy debut was with Rakesh Mehta’s short film ‘Darpok’ and his first commercial successful Bollywood film was ‘Azhar’ where he played the role of Indian Cricketer Ravi Shastri.
The actor is recently seen in the film ‘Radhe’ in the role of Girgit who is one of the henchman to Randeep Hooda. The film stars Salman Khan as the titular cop and also features Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff.
On the workfront, he will next be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh kare aashiqui’.The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vanni Kapoor in lead roles. It is a love story where Ayushmann will be seen playing the role of a cross functional athlete. Film is scheduled for release on 9 July, 2021.
