Happy Birthday Suriya! The ‘Nadippin Nayagan’ of Tamil Cinema turns 48 today. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers of the film, released Kanguva glimpse on social media platforms as promised. Since then, the video has been celebrated amidst the fans and movie fanatics. Kanguva glimpse features actor Suriya in never-before-seen look in filmmaker Siva’s fantasy world. The film marks to be the first ever collaboration of director Siva and actor Suriya.
The 2.22 minutes long Kanguva glimpse video features Suriya as a mighty warrior. The National-award-winning actor appears with a bull mask on at the beginning of the video. While there have been words uttered to define who Kanguva is, the actor shows his merciless face towards the end of the video, uttering ‘Nalama?,’ translated into “All Well” in English. Suirya is seen in never-before avatar wherein he looks unrecognizable in elongated and braided hairdo, quirky and silver accessories, rustic costumes, and enough tattoos in his body.
Apart from this, the raw and rustic world of Kanguva, ensures it not to be a usual movie but an epic one. With the skillful blend of theme music from Devi Sri Prasad and fiery voice over, the video glimpse is goosebumps-loaded. The distinct and fantasy setting, electrifying visuals and brilliant music assures the film to be an epic-fantasy creation in Tamil Cinema. Reportedly, Filmmaker Siva is said to worked on the script of Suriya’s Kanguva for nearly for four years.
Suriya-starrer Kanguva is expected to hit the theatres in early 2024. It is a multi-lingual movie that also features Bollywood actress, Disha Patani in female-lead role. Apart from them, the star-studded cast includes Kovai Sarala, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Ravi Raghavendra, Anand Raj, and KS Ravikumar among others.
