Thangalaan is Kollywood’s one of the most anticipated films. The much-awaited film features Chiyaan Vikram in a lead role and Malavika Mohanan as a female lead. On the birthday occasion of the actress, the makers of the film dropped Malavika Mohanan’s first look poster from the same. The first look poster gave the insight of the actress’ character in the film.
Malavika Mohanan’s first look poster features her as a tribal queen avatar. She looks so wild and fierce in this never-before-seen avatar. The actress is seen wearing a tribal costume and beaded accessories. With number of tattoos on her hands, she is seen holding a weapon which tribal community uses. On the whole, Mohanan looks wild and powerful in tribal avatar.
Meanwhile, filmmaker, Pa.Ranjith revealed her character’s name in the film, Aarathi. On the other hand, the film shared the poster with a caption, “A powerful and modern force redefining herself. Wishing the fierce and fabulous @malavikamohanan a wonderful birthday. Here’s to a year filled with strength, talent and empowerment!” Also, the actress rejoiced that, “This one is so incredibly special. Thank you @ranjithpa & team #Thangalaan! Helmed by Pa.Ranjith, Thangalaan is a historical adventure drama. The film stars Chiyaan Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy, and Pasupathy. The film will be released in the early next year.
