Actress Neha Pendse just took to her social media profile and wrote a wordy post. It read, “Finally the announcement I have been asked several times abt!! @nikmahajan We made June in 2019 not knowing what was about to hit us. Not that it was ever a ‘safe’ film but it was always a film that had a lot of heart and a lot of conviction. And if there is one thing I’ve learnt in my 10 years in this industry it is this – conviction is the most important ingredient in the mixture that makes cinema. From script to screen it is conviction and faith incorporated by a plethora of people that make feature films come to life”

“Thank you @akshaybardapurkar and @planetmarathiott for believing in ‘June’ with the same conviction that we had when we made it and for giving us the release we deserve in the middle of a raging pandemic. Thank you Akshay. I love you and I am eternally grateful. For all those who have waited patiently for our film, it is coming very soon. I can’t wait to share the world of June with you all. Thank you. May we all heal because trust me, nothing is quite as beautiful as healing is. @planetmarathiott @shrotripushkar @amit_bhandari21 @jayantijourno #June #marathifilm #planetmarathi #planetmarathioriginal”

June is a Marathi language feature film set and shot entirely in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It is the story of Neel and Neha – two troubled strangers whose lives intersect at the most unexpected juncture. Would they end up healing each other or will their lives change for the worse?
