Vijay & Samantha’s En Jeevan to Allu Arjun & Rashmika’s Saami Saami: Tamil Songs featured in the series ‘Never Have I Ever’

The season 4 of International web series, ‘Never Have I Ever’ released on June 8th. The Netflix-streaming series features Actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan who portrays an Indian-American Teenager, Devi. In the concluding episode of the season, The wedding ceremony of Devi’s grandmother started with En Jeevan in the background. Maitreyi as Devi along with her cousin, Kamala, danced to the hit Tamil number ‘Saami Saami’. The former is from Vijay-starrer, Theri and latter is from Allu Arjun-starrer, Pushpa: The Rise. Since then, the songs are trending globally.

In the show, Devi is from a Tamil family, who is residing with her mother and grandmother. As the fourth season is back, the final episode of the series features Devi’s grandmother getting married with the song ‘En Jeevan’ from Theri. From the traditional attires to the rituals, the series beautifully depicts the South Indian culture. When it comes to Indian wedding, shaking your legs to some energetic beats are definitely a must.

As a surprise to her bride-grandmother, Devi and her cousin, Kamala set the dance floor on fire. They did a tremendous performance for the Tamil version of an instant hit song, ‘Saami Saami’ featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. Devi in glitzy half-saree and Kamala in desi lehenga made beautiful move to the popular hit song.

While the dance clip from the International series is currently trending and surfacing on the internet, Actress Rashmika took her official Twitter account and wrote, @ramakrishnannn . . stunner! You did sooooo goooooodddd. Sending you full love. Also, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan retweeted, “I will NEVER have imposter syndrome about dancing again. Thank you so much @iamRashmika.”
