Empowering Women and Children: Madras Midtown Round Table 42 and Ladies Circle 7 Join Forces with The Sisterhood Group UK for a Charitable Rickshaw Rally
Madras Midtown Round Table 42 (MMRT42) and Madras Midtown Ladies Circle 7 (LC7) are thrilled to announce a landmark collaboration with the Sisterhood Group – an inspiring collective of over 150 women from UK who push boundaries to raise funds for women’s and children’s charities worldwide. This partnership is set to make a significant impact through the “Let’s Goa 2025 Rickshaw Rally”, a 1,000 km adventure from Chennai to Goa, aimed at raising between ₹1–3 crores to empower women and children in India.
Since their founding in 2006, the Sisterhood Group has been on a mission to create meaningful change. Through extreme challenges, including dragon boating across the English Channel, participating in the Amazon raft race, and running the Marathon des Sables, they have raised over £1 million for charitable causes. Their latest initiative, the Let’s Goa 2025 Rickshaw Rally, brings together 60 dynamic female entrepreneurs and leaders committed to driving positive change in India.
