Experience the charm of Village Life in Chennai This Weekend: Brand Avatar’s Village Ticket is Where You have to be
The city’s biggest live village festival is back. The 4th edition of Village Ticket – Idhu Namma Ooru Thiruvizha conducted by Brand Avatar, Brand and Event Management, is happening on May 5th, 6th and 7th at Sathyabama University in Chennai. Their ‘Chennaiyil Oru Village Festival’ is all set to keep your weekend engaged. The flamboyant festival honours the pillars of the village including farmers, artisans and cooks who are rooted to the tradition and culture. It does remind us of being in the real village thiruvizha as we do miss it often. The first day of Brand Avatar’s Village Ticket kick starts with a grandeur note today.
The 4th edition of Village Ticket has Actor-Producer Vishal as Chief Guest and Dr. Mairazeena Johnson, Chancellor, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology as Guest of Honour. Actor Vishal graced the event with his presence and gave a thoughtful speech as well. He also planted a tree and took part in every farming method. It was truly a pleasure for us to know that there are some 20 students who are studying under his scholarship from Vishal’s Devi Foundation, in Satyabama University. The actor exclaimed that he shares a beautiful bond with the University.

Vishal seemed to be emotional throughout his speech deliverance. He started with a request of silent prayer for the passing away of Legendary actor-director, Mano Bala. He said, “Kind request to try to conduct the Village Ticket in schools and colleges with sponsors because there is a disconnection between city and village. . . The life of a farmer is not like ours. They struggle a lot even if it comes to a Borewell work. So, I made it sure to make it a procedure to help farmers by giving a rupee for each ticket of my movie on behalf of everyone. I cannot help and protect every farmer alone but it is possible when everyone comes together to support.”
The actor also added, “I request the parents to take their children to farming field instead of theme parks and clubs so that let them know where their food comes from.” He also congratulated all the artisans and thanked Mr. Hemachandran, Founder & CEO of Brand Avatar for inviting him.
